This is a personal affair, but my beloved dog, Mugita, has passed away.
Thank you for the 18 years.
He was like my little brother, always bringing me comfort. I still feel like he will be there
whenever I go back to my family’s home.

While he’s no longer physically here, I think he will be watching over my family.

Happy New Year.
Peace Peace
This will be my 23rd time welcoming the new year, and I suppose the memories from last year will be deeply imprinted into my mind.
How great!!
In 2017,
work and non-work things were both fulfilling so I feel like I was able to live with peace of mind.
It was really a wonderful year.
I must give back these feelings of gratitude!
There were some times when I got worried about the future or felt things were tough but I was able to cherish those moments as well.
It’d be better if there are fewer of those times, this year. But it feelsl ike it’ll be fine!!
In the spring, I bruised my leg with the naginata.
In the summer, I sweat every year as always.
In the fall, I cut my hair.
In the winter, every day is massive consumption of adhesive heating pads.
Off the top of my head, that’s what I came to mind when I think of the four seasons. I thought I did a lot of other stuff, but…
It was always fun!
I’m excited to think of what kind of work I’ll be doing this year.

My schedule is so packed that every day seems to go by so quickly. But this feeling of hecticness in society in December, this feeling of the year end, has always made me feel excited and I love it…!!
When moving between locations, I play video games or listen to music as a breather.

We successfully completed the 2-day Tokyo Dome Concert!
It was a concert full~~ of emotions and
feelings of gratitude.
We were happy, excited, and a little sad.
Both what people in the audience felt and what the members felt was probaby different from what they were in the past…
As soon as the concert started I thought, “Uh oh, my eyes are watery!!”
There was a moment that I hope I won’t ever forget…
It was an amazing time.

I am glad that I got to meet them and spend time together with them.

was so looking forward to Mario Odyssey that I restarted playing Paper Mario: Color Spash ←？
I’ve been able to have time to refresh myself between working.
I laze around at home a lot, too, but I think I’m more active in the fall and winter than the summer.

On 9/22 Asahinagu
was released nationwide!
Yay~
While playing Asahi, who puts her entire adolescence on naginata
and gives it her all, it made me think on how strong she is… and it gave me strength, too.
I hope students who are currently in extracurriculars will watch, and also think students who aren’t in extracurriculars will enjoy it, too..
I hope that the coolness and charm of naginata will be conveyed to many people!
We are doing stage greetings casually~.
Once we forgot to wear tabi (traditional socks) and so we all just went barefoot.

For those who watched Mezamashi TV, you’ll know this, 麻婆茄子*!
This month, I’ve been busy with movie promotions, recording the new single, and
other stuff that I can’t say and didn’t think I had any time! but on a
location shoot for Mezamashi TV, in the flow of conquering my dislike of eggplants I was able to make this.
The eggplant was delicious!
I’ve been talking about the movie a lot during stage greetings, but I also
want to watch it on the big screen once more.

Good morning.
I’m more shocked when I’m bitten by a mosquito inside my house than when I’m bitten outside.
They are already making “ming ming” sounds.
The cicadas in Osaka sound like “shay shay.” I miss that.
5 times a summer, I get pranked by a sudden cicada corpse. I just get pranked without doing anything…
And it’s that season…
But when I was shooting Bemars and cicadas flew onto my back, I just went “Oh,” and didn’t really care.
Now, no way I could do that (*_*)!!
It’s already the 24th again.
This time, it’s not my own elaborate cooking. It’s a meal from a harako meshi (salmon, salmon roe, and rice) party by スイカ (“Watermelon,” a group of friends within Nogizaka46 consisting of Nishino Nanase, Saito Yuuri, Kawago Hina, Ito Karin, and Ito Junna).
